I spent over five decades working in the building and construction industry as a project manager and builder, before being elected as your State Member for Capalaba in 2024.

My world was turned upside down on Australia Day 2021 when my son Matthew, his loved partner Kate Leadbetter and their treasured unborn baby, my grandson Miles, were killed by a juvenile driving a stolen car while under the influence. 

This family tragedy opened my eyes to the youth crime crisis and injustice for victims in Queensland. I stood for election because lawlessness can never be accepted as the norm…
